LOADING, MANUAL MOVEMENT, FIXATION Whose task is it? 1. WHO CARRIES THE SHIPMENT IN/OUT? - WITHOUT SURCHARGE: the Sender must take it out to the car, and the Recipient can pick up the package at the car, the manual carrying of which is NOT included in the standard freight rate, so it is NOT carried out by the driver. - FOR SURCHARGE: the driver carries the parcel out or in * - *CONDITIONS: a.) the distance between the car and the gate is max. 100 m (the vehicle must be parked in a regular and safe place closest to the address) b.) in a building without an elevator, the driver's assistance max. can be requested up to the 1st floor c.) the weight of the item moved by the driver must not be more than 15 kg (he is not obliged to accept a heavier item even with the help of the customer!) d.) the service can only be ordered in advance, on the form, upon arrival at the location not guaranteed! 2. WHY DOESN'T THE BASIC PRICE INCLUDE CARRYING IN AND OUT? Carrying packages in and out during a groupage transport is no small task. Our flight often covers up to 60-80 addresses during a round, so if the driver had to carry the parcel to/from the car at a fixed price at each address, he would not have much energy left for driving. Don't forget that the driver moves the load of one ton several times during one round and it takes an average of 10-15 minutes to carry the packages at each address, which means up to 10-15 hours of extra time and extra physical work on 60-80 addresses can be also generated for a driver on an 8-10,000 km of road, at a "basic price"... If we thought this was right, then we would have to calculate higher prices for those, who do not request these convenience services - and we do not feel this is fair. By the way we accept the right of the clients to request carry by hand boxes, bags, and suitcases from door to door (also) if the Customer needs it! We deal with this problem with the philosophy that everyone decides for themselves what they have and what they don't need. Those who don't mind coming out to pick up or drop off their packages themselves can save money by doing so. Those who require us to move items by hand by our driver, because they are old, sick, busy, or even just want this for convenience reasons, can order and receive this service for the additional costs of the extra work. 3. WHO LOADS INTO/FROM THE CAR? - Packages: the driver loads and unloads from the cargo space, and he secures it (in the case of more difficult items, the Customer's help is also mandatory). - Motorbikes: Loading and rolling motorcycles into and out of the cargo space, together with fixing them in the cargo space (!) is always the Customer's task and responsibility, for which we provide the tools (ramp, wedge, rubber spider etc.).
