Due to incorrect knowledge of the terms or incorrect assumptions, material and other consequences of poorly ordered shipping (even if transporting not fulfilled) shall be borne solely by the Customer.
FAILED ENCOUNTER AT YOUR ADDRESS
WHEN AND WHY CAN BE FAILED AN ENCOUNTER? Important: All consequences of a failed meeting are borne by the customer!
In a BASE (TERMINAL): if the Client does not arrive at the announced location at the published in advance time (without personal notification!). OTHER ADDRESSES: a.) IF WE CAN NOT REACH THE CLIENT BY PHONE BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL, THE ENCOUNTER IS CONSIDERED TO HAVE FAILED! IN CASE OF UNSUCCESSFUL PHONE CALL WE ARE NOT OBLIGED TO GO TO THE ADDRESS! b.) IF WE CAN REACH THE CLIENT BY PHONE, YET NO ONE AT THE ADDRESS WHO CAN SOLVE THE TASK WITH US. IN ABOVE CASES, OUR CAR IN THESE CASES CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT WAITING AND THE ENCOUNTER IS CONSIDERED TO HAVE FAILED. Consequences: 1. Within Hungary (incl. Budapest), furthermore within region Málaga-Marbella (Spain) and the areas further south you can request a repeated encounter in limited time period, for surcharge. 2. Any settlement on the route: the car will move forward to the terminal without waiting and a.) If the meeting had been a pick-up, then it’s equal to your cancelling, it means you lose the paid fee, because we have reserved the free space according to the contract and provided the possibility to use it, we are not at fault for the unsuccessful pick-up and failed transporting. b.) If the meeting had been a delivery, then we take your packages to the Terminal and leave them in a storage, for surcharge. Then you can request - by a new order form and paying the fee again - a second transport, from this Terminal to your address, or you can go by your own vehicle to the storage, pay the costs of storage, then you can get and take your package yourself.
PACKING AND RESPONSIBILITY
You can pack your items in boxes, bags, suitcases or anything else with the following responsibility: The packaging shall ensure that the consignment does not come apart, disintegrate, become contaminated or be contaminated other consignments by it, and shall not be subject to scratching or rubbing due to natural movement of packages on the road. Filasol assumes no responsibility for the latter! Filasol does not undertake any packaging and cannot provide any packaging material. When our car arrives to the customer, the shipment should be ready for shipment, should be packaged and labeled already. Please do not begin the packing at this time as we cannot wait! For each item, please write onto the package the name of the addressee and the settlement of delivery (in the case of the terminal, the word BASE) as well as the special treatment paid. It is not necessary to write any other details on the shipment. The standard prices include a basic insurance, that is 200 EUR per client (not per items!). You can increase this insurance, as you need, for a surcharge (see in price list). In any case, the insurance does not cover damage resulting from incomplete, defective or inadequate packaging, eg. scratches, abrasions, surface cracks. If the packaging defect causes damage to other shipments, the customer is fully liable for these damages.
At basic prices, Filasol's staff handles your parcels next to the vehicle. It means the Sender must bring out all of them and the Recipient must take them into the house alone, without help of the driver of Filasol. Filasol will do only the lifting of shipment into the car and removing them from the car, and won't help you to move them on foot (except motorbikes, that always the Sender has to make rolled up, into the car, and Addressee has to make rolled down, from the car) If the Sender or Addressee don't want or not able do it, it is available our service "PLUS": the driver - one person only - can help to the Client to move the shipment, but NOT ALONE, but together with client. If you have not pre-ordered and paid for this service, we cannot guarantee availability on site. (In Hungary there is available a self loading service - that will be solved by Filasol - for special price)
LOADING, FIXING AND MOVING THE ITEMS OF SHIPMENT
If the customer has not ordered the special treatment, we can put the package on the bottom of the bale, rotate it, temporarily - eg. for official control - we can place them in the open air, independently of rain or snow. In the case of perishable foodstuffs, Filasol is not responsible for the quality and is not covered by insurance! To avoid all the damage caused by the above, use special package treatments: (Surcharge services!) SENSITIVE PACKAGE: we move it with extreme caution and guarantee - up to 20 kg! - to be placed on top of the bale. PACKAGE CAN NOT BE ROTATED: will be placed in the car in special position as marked it by the Client, and won’t be rotated during the transport. MOISTURE SENSITIVE PACKAGE: during an official controll or transhipment by logistical causes, we will protect it especially from rain, snow, water. KEEP COLD: we will transport it in cooler bag, using frozen ice packs, re-chilled them again and again with dry ice. KEEP FROZEN: we will transport it in thermobox, filled by dry ice and it will keep the package frozen during the whole transport.
SPECIAL TREATMENTS
PET TRANSPORT: We can transport pets that need care during the trip (eg. dog, cat), and also animals that no need any care until their arrival (turtle, hamster etc.). Mandatory equipment must be provided by the Sender and we leave it to the Addressee: - Pet passport, chip - Cage or mover (in which the animal can stand up and turn) or a birdcage, aquarium, box, etc. - In case of transporting a dog: leash, collar or harness - Cat litter (in case of transporting cat or similar animal) - Food and plates - In case of transporting animal in a cage: blanket or pillow - If necessary, medicines, and if required by law, special permits, documents The animals are constantly monitored, fed, watered and, if necessary, medicated. We go with dogs for a walk 3 times a day and play with them. The shipping fee is based on the weight of the animal and the size of the cage / box. VEHICLE TRANSPORT: we can transport bikes, scooters, motorbikes, e-bikes for fixed prices. In case of transporting a motorbike, the price depends on the ccm (cm3) of its engine. The fuel tank must be empty. Proper protection of sensitive surfaces (chromed, glass, plastic, polished, etc.), against a damage (eg. scratch and abrasion) by covering properly (eg with textiles, bubble wrap, etc.), in all cases it is the duty and responsibility of the Client. The handlebar of a bike, e-bike, scooter must be turned 90 degrees so that it is parallel to the wheels. failure to do so will result in a surcharge! In case of motorcycle transport we provide ramps, the vehicle is secured in the load compartment, but lifting and unloading is the task of the customer! If you would send a bike in its own box, you can pay for the transport as a normal package transport, based on its size and weight.
TRANSPORTING OF VEHICLES AND PETS
ORDER EXPANSION, INCREASE, WITH PRIOR NOTICE: you can increase the size, quantity and weight of the shipment by sending an email that includes the number of your original order and items, that has to be changed. If we have enough free capacity to transport the increased shipment, we will confirm it by a new prepayment request, sent by email. ORDER EXPANSION, INCREASE, DIRECTLY AT PICK-UP: if you indicate to us that your shipment is bigger, has more items, heavier etc. than you ordered or if we find out during our inspection (by checking the size, weight of packages), that the consignment is more or larger than ordered, there are two possible consequences: a.) If we have enough free capacity, we can pick-up your shipment with its new parameters for an increased surcharge (see in price list). b.) If the available free capacity wouldn’t be enough OR if the client refuses to pay the increased surcharge, then we will be able to transport only the originally ordered quantity. If the oversized shipment cannot be disassembled or reduced or the Client wouldn’t like to send the original quantity, then - from the point of view of Filasol - the transport is deemed to have been completed successfully and no money refund can be claimed, in whole neither in part - because Filasol kept the ordered and confirmed capacity for this Client, was ready for transporting, and the cause of the failure of fulfillment was not the transporter. REDUCING, CANCELLING AN ORDER: if you would like to reduce the originally ordered quantity or cancel your order totally, three cases are possible: a.) BEFORE PAYMENT you can send a simple email to us, that includes the number of your order and the changes you want. b.) AFTER PAYMENT please assist us with sending changes by email, but none money refund available by reducing a previous purchased capacity, neither cancelling an order totally. c.) If a smaller quantity is experienced by Filasol at pick-up, it shall in no way affect the amount previously paid. DATA MODIFICATION (address, name, phone number etc.): just send an email to us that includes the number of your order and data that have to be changed. MODIFICATION OF DATE OF TRANSPORT: a.) BEFORE PAYMENT you can send a simple email to us, that includes the number of your order and the new date you want. b.) AFTER PAYMENT you cannot modify the date of transport. Although you can cancel the original order and fill a new one, you will lose the amount originally paid.
